Not far away on the banks of the river Mande a merchant family called "kahir" life in peace. In one day his wife left to the river to perform activities of daily washing clothes, food and others. At the time his wife washing clothes on the other side looked a bunch of monkeys picking fruits "kupak" on the banks of the river, then came a tiger (Maung) in the same place.

The monkeys were bothered with the arrival of the tiger, the monkeys were screaming. The atmosphere or situation was surprising her and she paid attention to the situation, waiting the possibility of what happened next.

Tiger was angry and attacked monkey with his hand toward a sturdy but small-bodied monkeys, felt no fear, leaping with "kelid" or avoid again attacked by a tiger bite in the abdomen. Tigers stretched back to the attacks but did not touch the bodies of monkeys. In contrast with the other monkeys use a wooden rod, trying to disrupt the Tigers so angry and attacked him again. At the same monkey dodged back and bite.

this moment, fevery seconds noted and observed by her and she contemplated that fight. As a result, she was late to do her jobs, so she return to the home late and did not cooked for meals for her husband, , called "kahir"

Her husband, Kahir is so angry about her late. His wife tried to explain but was angry with her husband slapped his wife, with quick movement "kelid", the attack can be avoid. He become more angry, and his angry was uncontrolled overflowing it done with punch after punch but never hit his wife, she was avoid the attack with "kelid" movement.

Pak Kaher panting breath, asked his wife: "Where did you learn to this movement (maen poho or maempo, which mean play kelid)?" (Meaning "deceptive movement" shortened to "maempo"). His wife explained to her husband, she was late returning from the river due to she enjoy to watch animal fighting between (Maung), tiger and monkey. Since her husband wondering how the movement was, she diligently provides examples kelid movement.

Kahir watch carefully that fight start thinking about a movement that is now known as the "stance kelid pamonyet", monkey attacked with wooden handles to "tactic pepedangan (sword tactic)" and attack the hand a firm known as "jurus pamacan (tiger movement)".

Because the position of the tiger when attacking monkey legs were in a sitting position and monkeys using a low position, then the basic training first Cimande kelid stance starts from the position and the tiger is sitting next level began to exercise from a standing position with the "pamonyet" or monkey position (low). Next mempo technique 'is being developed by master Kahir to the local community and provide the name Maenpo' Cimande.
